The inception of Symbioun traces its roots to the perceived lack of innovation in the software services industry. While software product engineering service providers claim to offer reusable components and frameworks, there is a gap in leveraging technology and tools for delivering greater productivity and delivering simpler solutions to customers. Symbioun has made significant investments in bucking this trend and here are some of the initiatives at Symbioun that has already made a big difference to our customers.

• Charter to have a minimum of 15% of effort-hours towards projects involving new technologies and tools either through customer engagements or in-house initiatives.

• Instituted yearly Innovation competition - Brainwave, for Symbiounites. The winning entry gets funding for implementation

• Proactive de-risking through proof of concepts for all projects involving the latest tools / technologies

• Symbiounites are incentivized to deliver out-of-the-box technical solutions that go beyond addressing a stated requirement and deliver the shortest and the most cost effective route for addressing our customer's challenges.

• Adopted the agile development methodology for a global delivery model when the concept was barely understood in the marketplace
